Customer Testimonials for Chronic Lyme Disease Treatment
Dennis’ advice:
“You must adhere strictly to the protocol. It pays off. Be patient. There’s no quick fix depending on the severity of what you have.”
Dennis
Primary symptoms: Extreme fatigue, trembling, air hunger, dizziness, other neurological symptoms
Infections/diseases fighting: Lyme disease, Babesia, Bartonella, and previous Anaplasmosis
Time it took to recover: 23 months, due to getting derailed for a while from COVID
Dennis’ story:
At 85 years old, Dennis had dealt with his fair share of ticks, but that August, a deer tick bite prompted him to visit his primary care doctor. They put him on a short protocol of doxycycline, but he only took it for a couple of days. “I just said heck with it and stopped taking it.”
By September, he was starting to feel completely undone from extreme fatigue, trembling, air hunger, and dizziness.
Dennis had always enjoyed robust health, so he knew something was majorly wrong. Despite telling each doctor about the tick bite, he went through four doctors at different clinics, and no one could help him. Every Lyme test came back negative, besides a test for anaplasmosis that indicated he’d likely already defeated that infection.
After that, Dennis was done with the standard medicine approach and started researching Lyme on his own. He soon discovered information about co-infections that often accompany tick bites.
Determined to treat whatever tick infections he had more naturally, without antibiotics, he soon found Restorative Health Solutions online. By taking a thorough, more accurate tick-borne illness panel, Dr. Warren and Dennis discovered he was suffering from Lyme disease (not the standard type tested), Babesia, and Bartonella. Within a week of starting his protocols, Dennis could already tell a difference in his health, but it would still take a couple of years to fully recover.
Holly’s advice:
“I honestly didn’t come into this as a believer, but it absolutely works. I’m proof, and I know other people who have done it. It was worth a trip to Minnesota.”
Holly
Primary symptoms: Extremely tired, achy, brain fog, and forgetfulness
Infections/diseases fighting: Lyme disease and Rickettsia
Time it took to recover: Holly had been sick for almost a year before coming to see Dr. Warren. Within three weeks, she started to feel better.
Holly’s story:
Like many people who contract Lyme disease and co-infections, Holly didn’t know a tick had bitten her. Seemingly out of nowhere, she started feeling off, and day by day, her symptoms grew worse. By the second week, Holly visited her family doctor, but they told her she was just depressed. That didn’t sit right with Holly. She knew she wasn’t depressed and that something else was causing this dramatic shift in her health.
“I was angry,” Holly said. “I knew something was wrong. I felt like I was getting trapped inside my body.”
With her growing fatigue, achiness, and brain fog, Holly couldn’t accomplish simple tasks on her to-do list. “I’d start doing something and couldn’t remember what I needed to do. I would start going somewhere and couldn’t remember where I was heading.”
Soon, Holly couldn’t get out of bed and called her friend, a nephrologist. Her friend ran various blood tests and found the Lyme infection, telling Holly to see an infectious disease doctor.
For six weeks, Holly had a PIC line with antibiotics and started feeling great, but it was short-lived. After 2-3 months, “It came back,” Holly said. “This time I knew what the feelings were.”
Holly kept telling doctors it was the Lyme infection she’d contracted, but no one listened—until her eye doctor could tell her vision had been significantly altered. “Her niece had Lyme and knew what to look for. It was she who suggested Dr. Warren after doing some research on the internet.”
Whitney’s advice:
“Be your own advocate. If I had listened to all these doctors who said, ‘It’s all in your head,’ ‘You don’t have anything wrong with you,’ ‘Look at this blood work; it’s fine,’ I don’t know if I would be here today. It got that out of control. You know your body the best, and if you feel like something’s wrong, you have to advocate for yourself. If one person can’t help you figure it out, move to the next person. I finally found somebody who knew how to treat me and all my specific, weird bugs.”
Whitney
Primary symptoms: Migraines, panic attacks, suicidal ideation, fatigue, and weight loss
Infections/diseases fighting: Lyme, Bartonella, Mycoplasma, and Powassan Virus
Time it took to recover: Within three months of starting Dr. Warren’s protocols, Whitney began feeling significantly better than she had in two years. After a year and a half of treatment, Whitney felt 99% better.
Whitney’s story:
Abruptly in her 30s, migraines and panic attacks began plaguing Whitney. “I went from a very normal person to someone I didn’t recognize anymore,” Whitney said.
As a vet tech, her veterinarian colleagues wisely encouraged her to get tested for Bartonella and Lyme disease.
Whitney regularly reported new and growing symptoms, as well as her colleagues’ concern about tick-borne illnesses, to her primary care doctor. But when the test results came back, they were both negative.
“I was feeling pretty hopeless at this point,” Whitney said. “I just kept getting sicker and sicker.”
While her family and colleagues knew something was majorly wrong, her doctor began telling Whitney it might be “all in her head” because she couldn’t find anything medically wrong.
“I started thinking that maybe it was in my head. I was confused and scared,” Whitney said. “She sent me away and told me I should go to therapy, which I did. I was desperate. I went to a psychiatrist, and nothing was changing. I was getting sicker and sicker. I lost 30 pounds. I wasn’t sleeping. I was missing work and activities with my daughter and my husband, and even when I was going and fighting through things, they knew I was miserable.”
Still insistent that she must be fighting a tick-borne illness, her fellow veterinarians convinced her to try testing out of network. Through a specialty lab, Whitney was tested for Bartonella, which came back positive this time. She was then sent to an infectious disease doctor, but he knew nothing about Bartonella and had her take two weeks of doxycycline, which did nothing. Whitney was then told he couldn’t help her any further and that she should see a psychiatrist.
Spending all her spare time online trying to find people with similar stories, she eventually found the RHS/NutriRestore YouTube channel. Soon after, Whitney left her home in Florida and hopped on a flight to Minnesota.
After going through more accurate, thorough testing, Whitney discovered she was fighting not only Bartonella but Lyme disease, Powassan virus, and Mycoplasma.
